All Roads Lead to Rome (eventually)

We left Sat, 13th - Mase kindly giving me his business class seat for the first leg of the flight to Singapore - luxury! It took me about 10 minutes of just looking at the gadgets, buttons etc to have some idea of what did what...then to work out the entertainment system without looking an absolute fool was another challenge. Having avoided making a spectacle of myself (I think!) the time passed quickly. No wonder Mase likes travelling - three course meals, endless drinks and nibbles! Nice fully reclineable chair....pj's etc...mind you it has only been the last couple of years that he's been doing business class.
Anyway...our London flight was delayed by 2.5hrs, so we missed our connecting flight to Rome and so now we're killing time in the British Airways lounge at Heathrow - enjoying some gorgeous fresh fruit (along with many other temptations). God willing we'll arrive in Rome around 4pm and have a look around the 'Eternal City' - so called.
While we were waiting in Singapore Mase bought some sunglasses - I tried a few pairs on too and thought that Jo would have loved this pair!
